Design and durability
The titanium frame helped make the 15 Pro Max lighter than the stainless-steel 14 Pro Max. Rounded frame edges make it more comfortable to hold, although it is still a large phone. The Action button replaced the traditional Ring/Silent switch and can launch functions such as the camera, torch, Voice Memo, Focus mode or a Shortcut.
The phone carries an IP68 water- and dust-resistance rating under controlled laboratory conditions. Water resistance can decrease with wear, so it should not be treated as waterproof, and liquid damage is not something to test deliberately.
Display
The 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display supports ProMotion refresh rates up to 120Hz, HDR and the Always-On display.
